Spanish Ministries
The Spanish Ministries at St. Francis of Assisi Church is composed of several Spanish cultures from: Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, EspaƱa, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, ect. We are a very vibrant and diverse community. We have been at St. Francis for approximately 6-7 years, within our community we have people that are of spiritual, traditional, and charismatic backgrounds. The celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12 with mariachi and Aztec folklore is one of our strongest Hispanic Catholic traditions, accompanied with Novenas and devote prayers. We also celebrate Posadas before Christmas in order to prepare ourselves to receive Jesus Christ, Our Lord.
View More About the Spanish Ministries:
To welcome all people of God into a loving community. To serve the poor and bring the Eucharist to the needed and homebound. To bring the word of God into every home. To worship God with all of our minds, bodies, and souls. To make every family, especially Hispanic, feel like they belong into our community and to let them participate in any way they wish. To provide a welcoming environment that encourages prayer and service to God and his people.
We celebrate our Spanish Mass on Sundays at 12:30 pm. Please come join us. We would love to see you there!
