Children’s Pre-Chorus Ministry
Nurturing the parents and the youngest of our faith-filled community
This Ministry is designed to feed the hearts of parents and their young children 0-5 years old. It offers an uplifting boost of Spiritual Support and Guidance and will run simultaneously alongside the Monday, Children’s Choir Rehearsals. The class meets two to three Mondays per month from 3:45 pm-4:30 pm. We will see how the parents and children do and adjust the time accordingly.

Our goal is to reach the hearts, teach minds & inspire the souls of parents and the youngest of our parish family by using the Sunday Mass’ Scripture Theme. To practice contemplation, praise, reflection, sharing & devotion. To cultivate hope, love & motivation so they may continue to enhance their own Faith, while nurturing our parish’s future.
Our Extended Goal
Being an extension of the Children’s Choir, it is our hope to encourage the parents and their children to give back to parish community by ministering to our Parish Family, alongside the Children’s Choir at either a Christmas Eve, Easter or Mother’s Day Mass.
1. What was really said on Sunday? (Simple look at the theme for the Sunday Mass the day before.)
2. Parent & Me Praise! (Sharing the theme with simple ASL Sign, Song and or movement.)
3. Parent Pow-Wow w/ children alongside (A Sharing of thoughts/ideas of how to carry out the Scripture (Theme for the rest of the week.)
4. Prayer of Thanksgiving Marian Song or reciting one decade of the Rosary in Song. (Directors will adapt to parents and children’s needs)
