St. Francis Parish Ministries
We have been called to be servants of Christ and we have been sent as ambassadors to the world. Jesus said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” In this, He has called us into spiritual service and a life of ministry.
The Ministries at St. Francis offer many opportunities to gather together, as children of God and serve the Lord. We believe the love of Christ shines brightest when His people reach beyond themselves, interact, and care about people around them. We have been given the opportunity to serve others as a response to the call Christ gives us to be his disciples. When we serve God in this way, we share the love of Christ and allow Christ to continue to work in us as well.
How Do I Choose A Ministry?
Our Ministries offer many opportunities for you to serve and become involved with the people and heart of St. Francis. It is our hope is that you will take the next step into our faith community and get involved. All of our Ministries are groups of parishioners, just like you, who are led by Christ to bring hope, strength, and change to the world.
You can browse our ministries online, to the left on this page and find one that fits your interests. We have age specific groups, bible studies, men and women’s groups, local outreach groups, and ministries based on hobbies and interests. Our ministry leaders extend to you the warmest welcome and invite you to take part in what we have to offer.
Christ Has No Body
by St. Theresa of Avila
Christ has no body but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassion on this world,
Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good,
Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are his body.
Christ has no body now but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassion on this world.
Christ has no body now on earth but yours.
